Cameroon sheep

Ovis ammon f.aries „Kamerun“

Way of life: pack

The original form of this species is the wild sheep. Cameroon sheep are extremely undemanding and extensively kept animals. The special thing about this breed is that they have no wool in the true sense and therefore no shearing is necessary. “Hair sheep” like the Cameroon sheep can currently be found mainly in tropical countries and it belongs to the tropical domestic sheep. They are mainly meat and milk suppliers. Cameroon sheep are also becoming more and more popular in Europe, as they do not have to be shorn.
